Russian crypto billionaire Vyacheslav Taran dies in mysterious helicopter crash as another passenger ‘cancels’

Russian media reported that an unidentified VIP was also expected to join Vyacheslav, who pulled out at the last minute. The Russian billionaire belonged to Vladivostok, and his wife, Olga, was the founder of Hello Monaco, a media outlet in the scenic European country. Vyacheslav and Olga had three children. Vyacheslav was a renowned figure in the financial circles in Monaco and Cyprus. He was also a philanthropist and co-founded the Change One Life initiative that helps orphanages and child-care institutions.

Dmitry Zelenov has joined the growing list of Russian tycoons to die under mysterious circumstances since the invasion of Ukraine began.

The 50-year-old property mogul died in early December after allegedly falling down a flight of stairs during a visit with friends in the town of Antibes in the French Riviera.

Mr Zelenov reportedly died as a result of head injuries after falling ill during a group dinner earlier in the evening.

Alexander Buzakov, general director of Admiralty Shipyards dies suddenly in Russia

Alexander Buzakov, the General Director of the Russian company producing carriers for ‘Kalibr’ cruise missiles, died suddenly on Saturday, December 24. According to the press service of the United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC), Buzakov, the general director of the Admiralty Shipyards, died at the age of 67.

“The United Shipbuilding Corporation, Admiralty Shipyards, and all domestic shipbuilding have suffered an irreparable loss – at the age of 67, Alexander Sergeevich Buzakov, General Director of Admiralty Shipyards, passed away”, a statement from the corporation said.

The USC emphasized that Alexander Buzakov had devoted his whole life to the creation of the Russian fleet. Just one day previously, on Friday 23, he attended the solemn launching of the new submarine, Velikiye Luki, as reported by tass.ru.

“He took responsibility for the most complex orders and adequately coped with each of them, which earned him great prestige both in the industry and among the country’s leadership”, the press service added.

His death was also reported on the Ria Melitopol Telegram channel, which posted: “Alexander Buzakov, General Director of the company producing carriers for ‘Kalibr’ cruise missiles, died in Russia. The earth is glassy”.

General Alexei Maslov: Second ‘sudden death’ of high-ranking Russian military officers in 48 hours

Another high-ranking Russian officer has died suddenly. As reported by RBC, General Alexei Maslov, the former Commander-in-Chief of the Ground Forces of the Russian Federation and later RU military representative to NATO, passed away unexpectedly on Christmas day, Sunday, December 25.

Maslov worked as a special representative for military-technical cooperation at Uralvagonzavod. Born in the village of Panskoye in the Kursk region, he entered the army in 1970. In 1974 he graduated from the Kharkiv Guards Higher Tank Command School.

In 1984 he subsequently graduated from the Military Academy of Armoured Forces, and then in 1998, from the Military Academy of the General Staff. Maslov served in various positions from platoon commander to commander-in-chief of the Ground Forces, a position he took in 2004.

Since 2008, Maslov was Russia’s chief military representative to NATO. During his distinguished military career, he received many awards, including the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, II degree.

In a rather coincidental turn of events, Vladimir Putin had been scheduled to visit the city of Nizhny Tagil on December 24, one day before Maslov’s death. This trip was cancelled at the last minute.

As reported on December 23 by the Yekaterinburg TV channel E1 – citing three different sources – this trip included a visit to the UralVagonZavod tank plant where Maslov worked. The channel stressed the visit had been carefully prepared.

A former manager of multiple large Russian companies including Sukhoi, Menatep, Lukoil, Rusdragmet, and Roscosmos, was found burned alive in a mystery fire at his Moscow apartment, as reported on Thursday, January 26.

In the early hours of this morning (January 26) the deceased body of a top Russian manager, with links to Russia’s State Space Corporation Roscosmos among others, was found after a fire broke out on the 17th floor of a building on Leningradsky Prospekt, Moscow.

Dmitry Pawochka, 49, who was also associated with Sukhoi, Menatep, Lukoil, Rusdragmeta and other top Russian companies, was found by firefighters tackling the blaze at the elite residential complex, as reported by starhit.ru.
