H κυβερνηση προχτες υπεγραψε οτι η περικοπη του 1% στις συνταξεις ειναι pension reform,υπεγραψε οτι ειναι reform η μειωση του αφορολογητου και πως αυτα τα μετρα συνοδευονται απο πακετο αντιμετρων,ενω ο στοχος του 3,5% πιανεται χωρις να παρθουν τα μετρα αυτα

On current policies, the primary surplus is projected to comply with the fiscal target of 3.5% of GDP and
might even exceed it over the medium term, which allows for a symmetric implementation of the postprogramme
package in 2019 and 2020. The post-programme package was adopted under the 2nd review
contains a consolidation and an expansionary part, with the latter contingent on the achievement of the primary
surplus target of 3.5% of GDP over the medium term. On the consolidation side, the package consists of a
pension reform delivering net savings of 1% of GDP in 2019, followed by a reduction of the personal income tax
credit to broaden the tax base in 2020. Conditional on the projected compliance with the medium-term target,
these measures will be complemented by a targeted spending package and growth-enhancing tax measures
entering into force in 2019 and 2020. The authorities have presented, as a prior action, a timeline for adoption of
the secondary legislation parametrising the 2019 compensatory measures.
